The Mateu Family have been welcoming visitors to Barcelona for 15 years. This property is a whole flat apartment on the first floor of a typical building in Barcelona’s “Eixample”, built in the thirties of the last century. It is a classic architecture, composed of high ceilings, decorative moldings and ceramic floors of that time: the famous “hydraulic tile”; the tile that represents the culmination of centuries of craftsmanship in the work of ceramics in Catalonia. The Mateus have renovated this apartment and have done so preserving its history, its beauty and adding comfort, good services and offering a warm welcome to guests.
